As natural materials may vary in colour & pattern from samples please ask us to arrange a viewing of current stock 4 weeks before your scheduled installation date to avoid disappointment.
Pull out storage & internal mechanisms, lights, bins and accessories are not included unless stated.
2. Delivery, Goods insurance & Storage.
All goods supplied by 4 Seasons Design Ltd will be insured until the original scheduled delivery to site. Please check you have adequate insurance from the date of delivery. Storage is provided for 2 weeks preceding the scheduled delivery date without charge. Subsequent storage & insurance costs £75 + VAT (£90 inc VAT) per week payable in advance. 28 days’ notice is required to postpone a delivery without charge. Where a delivery is aborted or postponed within 28 days of the scheduled date a charge of £150 + VAT (£180 inc. VAT) is payable.
3. Payment terms.
10% is payable upon ordering. An interim payment of 45% is payable when clients require their kitchen to enter into production (often referred to as ‘the last day of amendments’) A balance of 45% is payable 4 days before the original scheduled site delivery date.
4. Cancellation policy.
A 10% deposit is payable upon ordering. Any monies refundable upon cancellation will be in accordance with The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulation 2013.
A confirmation of order will be issued allowing clients to check the specification and make amendments if desired.
Providing a) goods have not entered production b) services have not been provided c) goods such as appliances can be cancelled; 100% of the remaining balance will be credited.
The client agrees to pay for goods, services and items that are in production / they have enjoyed or benefitted from. A credit for any remaining goods or services will be issued and Four Seasons Kitchens will provide detailed information of this on a case by case basis due to the individuality of each project.
4a. Sharing Tradesmen’s details.
Details of various tradesmen and installers may, by request, be passed on to clients; in doing so, 4 Seasons Design Ltd will not be responsible or liable under any circumstances, for their performance or workmanship or financial affairs. Under a supply-only contract, the risk of engaging any tradesmen including those who may constitute an ‘arms-length recommendation’, is expressly that of the client and will be agreed under an entirely separate contract with those trades.
Additional Terms and conditions for kitchens and bedrooms including furniture installation.
The following terms and conditions apply in conjunction with paragraphs 1-4 when choosing our installation service.
Plumbing, electrical, plastering, wallpaper removal, tiling, floor protection, decorating, joinery work & painting of hand painted furniture is excluded from this contract unless specifically itemised & quoted in the installation section.
Our team require parking and access to your property to provide a smooth installation. Any restrictions must be brought to our attention when placing your order.
6. Installation scheduling changes.
A schedule will be issued detailing the installation process. Where clients postpone their installation date within 14 working days of the notified start date an additional fee equal to 50% of the installation charge is payable.
7. Removal of existing kitchen / bedroom and packaging.
If removal is included this will appear in your quote and excludes capping of plumbing and electrical services. Responsible disposal of waste material and packaging will be offered at current market rates by either an onsite skip or specialist waste company.
Un-boxing, installation into furniture & testing is undertaken for appliances supplied in this contract. Four Season Kitchens can specify furniture for appliances not supplied in this contract for £30 per appliance including VAT. Additionally large / or freestanding appliances attract a handling charge and a quote must be requested.
Installation of appliances is undertaken within 1 metre of existing supplies and based upon existing supplies being to current regulations.
9. Plinths & flooring.
Plinths will be fitted to suit the floor materials in situ at the time of installation. A repeat visit to re-install plinths may incur a small charge.
Please ensure adequate protection is in situ for existing flooring as no liability will be accepted.
10. Wall treatments.
All wall treatments must be chosen with the size & colour confirmed for inclusion in the contract. A refund will be issued until such time this is possible.
11. Additional work(s) over and above those detailed in this document.
Goods or services not detailed are chargeable. Requests must be raised with a member of our showroom staff for payment before commencement.
Personnel and insurance.
All relevant members of the Four Seasons Kitchens Team will be introduced to the client/site manager as appropriate. All Four Seasons Kitchens personnel and sub-contracted trades people are fully trained and insured.
All work will take place weekdays between the hours of 8:00-18:00 unless specifically agreed in writing beforehand.
