The transformation of the swimming pool area into a kitchen was no small feat. Extensive building work was undertaken to cover the pool and ensure the floor was stable.
Large glazing was added to two of the walls, flooding the space with natural light and enhancing the open-plan design. The final kitchen layout is both functional and visually stunning. Key features include:
- L-Shaped Island: Serving as the central focus of the room, the island incorporates the main cooking area, ample storage, a breakfast bar, and an integrated dining table. This design allows for easy flow between cooking, dining, and lounging, making it ideal for both everyday family life and entertaining guests.
- Quooker Boiling Water Tap: Positioned on the sink run, this tap provides instant boiling water, adding convenience to the cooking process.
- Dekton Worktops: Known for their durability and sleek appearance, these worktops complement the modern aesthetic while offering a practical surface for cooking and preparation.
- Bora XPure Hob: Integrated into the island, this hob is both powerful and discreet, featuring innovative downdraft extraction to maintain clean lines and an unobstructed view across the kitchen.
- Siemens Appliances: The kitchen is equipped with top-of-the-range Siemens appliances, including the extra-wide aCool fridge, making both cooking and entertaining effortless.
- Integrated LED Strip Lighting: Subtle yet effective, the LED strip lighting enhances the kitchen’s ambience, highlighting the clean lines and textures throughout the space.
- Leicht Cabinetry: The use of Leicht cabinetry ensures that the kitchen is as stylish as it is functional, with a sleek, contemporary finish.
- Oak Trims and Furniture Highlights: These details add warmth and contrast to the modern design, tying together the various textures used throughout the kitchen.

Donna was excellent from start to finish in designing our kitchen and utility room. Donna's creative vision is excellent. Four Seasons have an excellent range of designs and colours. We wanted a primarily green kitchen and they had a wide range of different options. We saw the kitchen we liked in the showroom with the perfect handles. Donna designed the kitchen thoughtfully and really listened to what we wanted, incorporating practicality into the design. Donna was also able to include a 'hidden door' in the design, which another kitchen company we had visited before going to Four Seasons had said they were not able to do. The utility room is also designed so well and looks lovely. Everybody who visits compliments us on the kitchen. We love it! I smile when I walk into my lovely kitchen.

They offered great advice on kitchen design and were very patient whilst we chose colours etc. After the kitchen was fitted, they even helped out to fix some mistakes our own builders made. Compared to the first well known kitchen company, 4season was 200% better in customer service and I will highly recommend them. The designer really thought through the kitchen configuration and gave really useful suggestions. She liaised with kitchen fitter and project manager to make sure everything fittted as it should. Few minor snagging issues and errors but they tried their best to rectify and make it right for us. Superb quality kitchen, beautifully designed and planned by them. Not the cheapest but 100% well worth the money.

We ended up going with a company who admittedly were a bit more expensive but the design they did for us was amazing and so that swung it for us.
