In this project, our client wanted to create a sleek, minimalist kitchen with high quality appliances and plenty of space to prep food.
We were faced with a slightly unusual layout to the room, with a partial wall and archway to divide the kitchen from the utility as well as a nib in the rear wall. We used the partial wall to create a peninsula, which provides plenty of room for prep as well as extra storage space. Due to the shape of the rear wall, there was little space for prep beside the induction hob. Creating this peninsula has allowed for prep space in a practical position.
The satin lacquered pearl grey cabinets with the light Corian worktop offers a bright, minimalist look to the room, whilst the simple steel handles work well with the appliance fascias. We have carried this style through to the utility to complete the area and ensure the design matches with the flow between each room.
