Customer Requirements

This client wanted to make the most of the space they have available, to integrate plenty of storage whilst introducing more social seating to the room.

We decided to create a large island which, as well as maximising the storage available by using wide, deep drawers, also provides an excellent seating zone for up to 6 people.

The chosen timber finish combined with the large surface of light quartz worktops creates a bright and warm atmosphere – a perfect social space for enjoying drinks with friends or a Sunday brunch with the family.

The appliance bank was designed in mid-height cabinets to suit the client’s preferred working height, but also to allow for some decorative shelving to display much used cookery books and to house the drinks station.
