Customer Requirements

• Clean but impressive aesthetics.

This project started with a long building phase, knocking through an existing kitchen and lounge area and adding an extension to create a large, open plan ‘L’ shape. The new open plan room and glazed walls made for a bright, spacious feel which would be more than adequate to house a dark contrasting colour that the customer was seeking.

We used a rich navy blue towards the extended end of the room where there would be the most light and kept the main tall bank and sink run in a soft taupe.

White veined quartz worktops and a pale timber floor lifts the whole room and adds warmth for a more homely feel, perfect for the soft seating to be incorporated into the larder storage area.
